Moving days in New Zealand can be busy and weather can change quickly. For the best access, schedule move-out cleaning after the property is emptied and move-in cleaning before large furniture arrives. Confirm that keys, parking, power, water and any apartment access instructions will be available. If another contractor is working at the property, allow enough separation so freshly cleaned areas are not immediately disturbed.

What is the difference between move-in and move-out cleaning?
The core tasks may be similar, but priorities differ. Move-out cleaning focuses on leaving agreed areas ready for handover, while move-in cleaning prepares selected surfaces and rooms before you unpack.
Does the property need to be empty?
An empty or nearly empty property gives cleaners better access. If furniture or boxes remain, tell us beforehand so the workable areas can be confirmed.
Can I book cleaning for both properties?
Yes, subject to local availability, travel time and access. Provide both addresses and preferred dates when requesting your quote.
Are ovens, cupboards and windows included?
These can be added to the quote. Interior cupboards must be empty, and window work depends on safe access and the agreed interior or exterior scope.
Do you guarantee a bond refund?
No. Clean Hero completes the agreed cleaning scope, but bond and inspection decisions depend on the tenancy agreement, property condition and the relevant landlord or property manager.
When should I book?
Book as early as possible once your moving date is known. Availability can be limited near month-end, public holidays and popular settlement dates.
